  1. Name another team that wants to contend this year who have 2 guys with ZERO starts and barely played past AA ball, are the 2 guys who they are relying on for depth in the rotation? every team relies on some young guys, not like this or this unproven however.
  2. LOL embarassing. Twitter is where you see human stupidity at its best.
  3. I know full well but they are NOT ready. talented is not the same as MLB ready. You are on drugs if you think both are MLB starter ready.
  4. Where did you find that crystal ball? Donaldson is ten times the player Lawrie is, nor do you know what happened.
  5. Nice strawman argument you created...never said rookies should never play. Rookies that barely played past AA ball are not to be relied on for 2 starting rotation spots.............. Not every rookie is treated equally. we needed more starting pitching and the Org failed period.
  6. LOL, it being unknown and unproven makes it not good. It is unlikely either Norris or Sanchez are even ready to be everyday starters.
  7. Every team has depth confirmed. When people say depth they mean decent to quality depth, depth is useless if it's garbage.
  8. Idiot alert. Your posts in this thread are all I need to see to know that.
  9. I dunno about that, either way it's s***, neither one is good, being maybe better then the O's is not much of a win now is it.
  10. Jays will probably out of the mix by then. Worst starting staff in the division.
  11. LOl we don't have SP depth, depth not much good if it is poor...only sanchez who is not ready to be an everday starter. Paper thin, better hope the jays offense has a record year. we have no idea what we have yet in norris or sanchez, a lot of hopes on very young and unproven pitchers, the rest a average middle of the road to back end starters.
  12. We wont be getting much in return for navarro.
  13. sanchez is not ready to be an everyday starter at this level..........if he is starting things are dire...well they pretty much are.
  14. Lets hope the jays offense puts up record numbers...........might be only shot at playoffs.
  15. Maybe Navarro likes Stro and feels bad.................
  16. Both are an issue, not just depth, sanchez is not near ready nor is norris.....not to be starting, we will see that this season.
  17. Pretty sure there is a hex on the Jays....no luck at all.
  18. You are not getting what I am saying...even WITHOUT this injury there is way too much reliance on young guys many are not proven or pitched an entire year at this level, pitching was and is an issue they failed to address, and it will cost us.
  19. sanchez save us bro....................
  20. I know that but even without injury there was not enough there and too much reliance on young guys stepping up big time at the big league level, saw this coming a mile away. we needed an arm and AA and rogers again don;t want to go that extra step.
  21. Yep, I have been saying it ll offseason, too much reliance on young unproven arms, and injuries were unavoidable. Not enough good pitching depth, just a bunch of middle of the road pitchers and ?
  22. LIke I was saying all offseason, they should have went one step further and went after a legit starter, you cannot rely on a bunch of young arms, many which have never pitched an entire season, going to backfire bigtime and it did.
