  1. Good counterpoint, JD is a beast and I have a man crush on him. I guess the 2 cancel each other out.
  2. I live in the world where Hutch's ceiling is not anything more then a #3.
  3. Please don't bring that up, wow AA should get fired for that alone lol.
  4. Hutch looked like s*** often last year, he is what he is, capable of some good starts but some bad ones. I don't think he will ever be a top of the rotation guy.
  5. Not my issue, it is a you issue. You cannot tell the difference between very weak and terrible? Right now the jays pitching is awful, it would still be very weak staff with stroman, pretty big difference. Not my issue you cannot see there is a gap between very weak to one of the worst in all of baseball. Either way, fact is we needed more arms Stroman or no. No Stroman just makes it that much worse.
  6. Maybe give it a go lol. Travis has been a pleasant surprise though.
  7. Average at best was being kind, stop cherry picking words. It was not a good rotation even with stroman. It didn't take an expert to see the bullpen and pitching staff would be an issue.
  8. Not saying much considering how bad the division is, it is better but not exponentially. We go from 28-30th in baseball to what, 20th or so? We needed another arm to be considered contenders...When was the last time a team went 162 games without a starter going down? too much had to go right with players that have not even played a full season, it was bound to blow up. i think some of you are over rating what our staff would have been even with stroman.
  9. It was a great need, anyone thinking stroman makes this staff from one of the worst to one of the better ones in baseball is dilusional. Stroman made it better, but after that is is still a suspect pitching staff. With stroman we go from terrible to not that good....We needed another arm regardless.
  10. Oh my, it appears reading and comprehension is not a skill you possess...I never said it would not be Better then it is with a healthy stroman, but I am saying it is still not a great rotation or bullpen with stroman. Please point out where I said it would be as bad with stroman? Even with Stroman it is a average at best to below average staff. When I said "Even Worse bullpen" I mean the bullpen is even worse the the starters, not that it would be worse with Sanchez there.
  11. Even with stroman it is a very weak rotation and an even worse bullpen with many questions marks. Stroman himself has never got through an entire MLB season, who knows how he would have did a full season with hitters adjusting.
  12. Pretty much sums up why AA will lose his job after this year unless a miracle happens and the Jays make the playoffs.
  13. Rumours AA is calling about hamels...we don't have anything to give them for hamels.
  14. The offense either scores a bunch of runs or struggles it seems, no in-between.
  15. Playing a game without fans must be odd. Must be how the rays feel all the time at home.
  16. Maybe it's time to take a look at delabar.
  17. Offense seems to be all or nothing so far this year, think in there losses they have averaged less then 2 runs a game, and over 8 in wins, have to look it up though. Offense is not the issue though, pitching is really bad, even worse then I expected so far. Not going far unless changes are made.
