As many of you know, I moved to Canada 3 years ago. I chose Toronto as a location to live in over Vancouver as I wanted to have a city which had MLB.
Over 3 years I've been turning up to half empty stadiums and sitting on my own watching hit and miss baseball teams. Regardless of the results I had a blast.
As I've only been here 3 years, you could call me a bandwagon jumper. But in fairness I couldn't really make games living in Scotland.
I didn't have the money to buy a season ticket or flex pass this year and simply bought all my tickets off of stubhub.
NONE of the Canadian guys at my work ever wanted to go to baseball.
Now they are winning and look playoff bound, I can't afford the $60 a game due to all the people jumping on the bandwagon.
I just ran down to the ballpark to try and buy a flex pass for the rest of the season and have since found they are sold out.
The chances of me getting playoff tickets are about 0 out of 10.
I can only imagine how pissed some of the guys who have been going for 20+ years feel.
Anyway, next season I'm buying a season ticket. It's not economically worth it, but screw being in this situation again.
Does anyone know if the Jays will have a deal where if you sign up for a season ticket for next year, you get the option of 2015 playoff seats?
I know the Raptors done this.
Screw bandwagon jumpers. Lets go Jays
