Long time reader 2nd or 3rd time posting... But i'm worried about this....
Here is Shapiro's RECORD during his almost 15 year tenure at GM/President:
-4 teams with winning records in 15 years.
-one playoff team (2007) and one team (2013) with a 1 game wildcard playIN game.
-erosion of season ticket base from 27,000+ to barely 5,000 today.
-horrific (abysmal) drafting record, particularly 1st round in pasat 15 years.
(look it up).
-horrific record of FA signings in regards to performance.
-consistently one of MLB's lowest payrolls.
-promised in 2002 after initial team teardown that fans in Cleveland were seeing a "new paradigm" where future rebuilds passe, team would win consistently.
-showed arrogant and disdain to Cleveland fans, and speaks in "Harvard-speak" corporate lingo at all-times. Very deceptive and dishonest.
-Bottom Line: presided over consistent and heavy erosion of Cleveland Indian's team/organziation and fan base.
It gets worse from there. Be careful in LISTENING to what this man says, or better-doesn't say.
