  1. Who would have thought Melky would play better without a tumour in his spine.
  2. Myself and 3 friends were there for the entire series. I had gone last year as well and the crowd this year was better. All three days a really solid turn out from Jays fans. We asked one of the beer vendors if they sold this much beer on a typical night. She sort of got one of those 1,000 yard PTSD stares that soldiers get and slowly started shaking her head going "nuh uh, they warned us about you guys..." She looked exactly like this dog: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l112/Kamikaze102/0d939574.gif The two Jays fans in the middle of King's court holding K signs for our strike outs were awesome. Troll level: maximum. I was offering $20 for a King Felix hat but nobody would sell it to me! The traffic was ridiculous on the way back. The game ended at 4:15 or so and we didn't get out of Safeco's parkade until 6 (yes, it took an hour and 45 minutes to just get out of the parkade), and then didn't get out of Seattle itself until around 8. The border wait at 10:30pm was 90 minutes at least - we thought it was a typo but we had no idea how wrong we were... Unbelievable how not only did we take over the stadium, but we took over their night life as well! All the bars packed with Jays fans like mentioned before. Protip: Go to a place called Cowgirls after the games (just don't ride the bull if you're a dude - you will be mercilessly booed with extreme prejudice). The Ibanez thing was hilarious since he sort of disappeared behind the wall for us, and then we just see the ball slowly start rolling out of left field and were so confused as to what just happened. Ibanez just being Ibanez it turns out. I'm always amazed by how easy it is to spot Buck since his hair is like a lighthouse beacon. A lot of Riders fans at the games as well. Booed every time they were on the Jumbotron by Mariners and Jays fans alike. Anyway it's an awesome road trip and we can't wait to do it again next year.
  3. Well, I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day. Or in Boni's case, .230 times a day. Whatever, I'll take it!
  4. Basically needed to throw the ball outside of pitch trax for boni not to swing lol
  5. Speaking of this, anyone here from Vancouver and going to head south for the Seattle series in August? I went last year and the atmosphere was nuts - you couldn't walk anywhere in downtown Seattle without seeing at least 3 or 4 other Jays fans. Somehow there were like 6 guys in Oilers jerseys at the game as well...
  6. We should start a charity fund to tweet at JPA "BlueJaysMessageBoard.com will donate $20 per JPA BB to a charity of his choice". We'll be doing good work for the jays and for a deserving charity.
  7. F5 is just refresh so spamming that would do nothing for this. I couldn't find a "spam vote button .gif" so I figured that would get the point across
  8. Vote for Steve, chums! http://goinglikesixty.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/jackhammerf5.gif
  9. Why was Machado selected over Longo? Orioles Magic™ strikes again:
  10. Buck and Tabby looking very smart compared to this moron guest in the booth
  11. That wasn't the pop-up this team deserved, but it was the one it needed.
  12. When he first hit it it sort of looked like it was going through the gap in the middle, but bounced off the mound toward 2b. Or maybe the Zauntourage is out in full force against Lind and JP tonight.
  13. MB pitching into a jam and then getting out of it in the first for some excitement. I like his style.
  14. This team has been giving up an insane amount of infield singles lately.
