Well yea that's what i figured plus if Dickey and Johnson come around which at times look like they will we have that pitcher we can rely on without trading away anything which is why i'm leaning more towards a 2B
I really don't want another "power bat" if you can even call him that anymore, I much rather have a pitcher we can rely on to give us a good start which is odd to be saying with the rotation we have/had more importantly though is a more defensively sound 2B that can get on base regularly. Unless its 06-09 morneau somehow then i'm in.
Would love to get Howie Kendrick if the angels are willing to trade him would easily be an upgrade to boni/izzy in pretty much all facets, would love him batting 9th or maybe 2nd and have him be able to hit and get on base for Jose, EE and even lind now and give them more chances to score runs something i think none of our other current players at 2nd can do on a consistent basis. only thing is what would it take to get him i'm personally not sure
Same I would understand the whole bandwagon thing if someone was a fan of another team then saw that their team wasn't doing well and went to go cheer for the best team in the league but attracting new fans is hardly bandwagon
Red Sox lose, Yanks close to losing, Indians lose which isnt that big but still good for us to work our way up the wildcard ladder more importantly jays win, even milhouse himself is jealous at how well everything is coming up for us
Nice let's hope we can keep this rolling vs the rays. really wish we could have Reyes back for the Tampa series but of course no reason to rush him for 3 games. Tampa still makes me uneasy though. even though they're 3-7 their last ten and we're actually 4-3 vs them this season, dating back since 2011 our record is 14-29 vs the rays but with that said I still have faith this team can keep it going with the excellent pitching we've had recently and everyone putting in the effort and doing their part.
