  1. What I don't get is why people are expecting AA to overpay. He's done a lot of things wrong but negotiating contracts has usually been a strength of his.
  2. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, maybe AA tries to offer market value. Something like 3 years with an option or two in there, if he accepts it, then we acquired an above average player for fair value, if he doesn't, then oh well they weren't willing to overpay because of his body type. Not that big of a deal.
  3. McCarthy for a market value deal plz.
  4. Lol @ the Tigers. They feared we'd overpay for the aging DH so they went ahead and did it before we could counter.
  5. JV puts up 17/14/2 on 7/12 efficiency, all in 33 minutes. Please repeat this Casey.
  6. Great 4th quarter as usual. Lou Williams came up big today. Hopefully JJ's ankle sprain isn't major, would suck if he had to miss time.
  7. WTF? That whistle came an hour late.
  8. Completely twisted his ankle. Hopefully it passes.
  9. Please be okay JJ
  10. JV has 14/13. Yeah...
  11. Much better effort to start the half.
  12. Lou Williams and James Johnson have easily been our best second unit players.
  13. I think it's 23 (or 24), Yasmani Tomas is 24 and he's considered a Free Agent.
  14. Reedjohnsonfan has some high expectations for the contracts Scherzer, Lester, and Han-Ram are going to get.
  15. Not to compare the two, but Wade is also not very good from three and I don't think anyone would object to him pulling up for a shot in that situation.
  16. All in all, a good effort against a very good team. The glass was a problem once again, as was the paint defense. JV did not play enough, Demar didn't make his shots, and everyone not named James Johnson in the second unit was horrific. There are positives to take away from this game, I'm not at all concerned about this loss.
  17. I'd rather have him taking that shot than JJ, not really debatable.
  18. Yeah, it's pretty much over. They battled back, but that 3rd quarter beat down was too much to overcome.
  19. Did Demar just hand it off to James Johnson lol? Not exactly the guy you want taking that shot.
  20. This, when we were getting killed inside he should have been in the game. Demar has practically been a non-factor this game.
  21. So JV simply has not played in the 4th quarter. That's a thing.
  22. Ross...bad timing to do that.
  23. I just won't say anything...
  24. At least they're making it close. I'm glad they didn't give up.
  25. Lol what? You need to play good inside D and grab rebounds to keep a run going. The Bulls are abusing the paint with him out.
