I could understand it with Hicks since he's a good fielder but I believe McKinney doesn't have such a reputation so it's definitely odd, maybe they're just propping up the latter's value knowing they have nothing to lose with Stanton. -
They seem very old school. I know they sometimes have an older guy in the booth who is horrendous to listen to but he's not there today.

I'm honestly all in on Winker. The OBP is already legit and I really think he's more than a mere 50 power guy, at least raw power. And he doesn't strike out, he's going to be a poor man's Joey Votto.

I feel like people are overestimating how much more suited Stroman and Sanchez are to face these Yankees than Happ. Now yes, these two at this point in their respective careers have much higher upside but Happ was pretty darn dominant yesterday and unfortunately he got Stanton'd. If Stroman and Sanchez can get through 5 with a 5:1 K/BB I'll be quite happy.

I think Happ was well equipped to face the Yankees and he displayed as much, the problem was the offense/Severino making it impossible for us to get anything going. -
