  1. You've got to be f***ing kidding me! Miller is getting extremely lucky on HR/FB%
  2. Omfg Sportsnet, are we really judging rookie pitchers now on wins? FFS makes Jose Fernandez look like a sack of s***, way to give helpful insight on the upcoming starts of the game.
  3. Does anyone else see the ump laughing as well? What a clown move by Machado, that's as close as baseball will ever get to looking like soccer.
  4. A f***ing triple play yesterday lol. Couldn't believe, and yet it didn't even matter since those runs didn't make a difference in the final score.
  5. Does it cost much more to customize a jersey? If you don't feel like waiting possibly a few months you could always put Stroman or Hutchison and their number on the back.
  6. Is it just me, or does it seem like since yesterday the Cards have been getting the long end of the BABIP stick? It appeared like they were getting groundball and bloop hits while the Jays were drilling balls right at guys.
  7. "Houston also landed Jon Singleton and Jarred Cosart in that same deal. So it's turning out being pretty costly for the Phils and GM Ruben Amaro." What a f***ing moron.
  8. I was at the game yesterday, and what a game it was! It was ideal for the avid baseball fan, had its ups and downs, triple play, no doubters, pitcher dominance (Stroman after the third and Janssen), and even controversy! I'm not here today but let's get another one going! Damn Bautista just missed that.
  9. So how has Day 2 been so far? Everyone liking the picks? Guys reportedly signing?
  10. Reyes (3pts) -baseballsss, flafson Melky (2pts) - Bautista (1pt) - GD, jays4life19,bowld, Jonn Juan (1pt) - Navarro (5pts) - Lawrie (2pts) - Orgfiller Lind (3pts) - Chappy, o2cui2i, Dylan, Angrioter, wilko, G-Snarls, frenchsoup, Gose (8pts) - Pillar (8pts) - Eddy? (1pt) Haven't had time to pick lately because I've been busy, if anything after today give me Bautista on Saturday and Lind on Sunday (Eddy if it's a lefty so he doesn't get the start).
  11. Yeah but no one really expects how hard it's going to be. If you get drafted in like the 30th round out of highschool, what do you do then? You'd like to think your skills will hold up against tougher competition, but maybe two-three years later you realize you just aren't good enough. Also, I'd like to think players have enough pride to not give up right away, so that's why players will hang around until they are cut and basically left out of professional baseball. Spending a few years with no education in a specific field I'm sure won't exactly land you job offers left and right. Just because you're chasing your dream doesn't mean you have to live in s*** conditions to get there.
  12. I pretty much love every player right now so I'll post the underdogs/people not everyone would choose first: Positional: Melky. He had a lot to prove, after the steroid charges and the back tumor, extrabase-less season he's come back to be a great addition to the top of our lineup. Completely earning his contract. SP: Hutchison. Okay, not really the guy people wouldn't choose, but he's been awesome. After looking promising before he went down with injury, he's come back even better, an integral part to our rotation. Honorable mention: Buehrle being Buehrle. RP: Loup. Loup is f***ing nails guys.
  13. One of the stupidest things I've read in a while. It's like you think these players sleep all day and show up at 7pm and get it over with. This is the kind of thing someone who actually has never played baseball says.
  14. Thanks a lot guys, seems like it's been a fun game to watch.
  15. Damn I didn't know we were playing early. But it's f***ing awesome to come home to the Jays winning 6-3 in the 9th, and then Melky bomb! Can anyone give me a quick summary on the game?
  16. He probably just wasn't surprised that Loup saved his ass because of how nails he is.
  17. He only threw 3 pitches though, I doubt he'll be too sore tomorrow to pitch
