  1. Kershaw in the minors averaged 11 K/9 and 3.7 BB/9 Kerry Wood averaged 11 K/9 and around 6 BB/9 in the minors Bartolo Colon averaged 9 K/9 and 3.3 BB/9 in the minors Aaron Sanchez: 9.2 K/9 and 4.7 BB/9 You are cherry picking here. The only reasonable comp stat wise is Kerry Wood. But Wood, and even Kershaw, struck out more than 11 K/9 while Sanchez can barely maintain 8 K/9 above A+ while having a BB rate close to 5. Sure Sanchez has the stuff but he really needs to work on his command if he wants to be more than just a wildcard at this point.
  2. Sanchez is much more likely to bust then Stroman at this point. If Sanchez keeps averaging 4-5 BB/9 in the minors, he's not gonna go far as a starter.
  3. I think McGowan should get some more starts.
  4. SSS warning but Jays are 8th in BB% with 9.2% and 25th in K% with 18.0%. I'm liking their K/BB ratio so far this season. Lind and Bautista are taking walks like it's nothing (they are probably skewing the team K% BB% though haha)
  5. Adam Lind: "I looked up Aaron Sanchez the other day." I'm just imagining Adam Lind going on Fangraphs and checking out Sanchez' stats.
  6. Lol Jesus seems like everyone in this thread likes to make roster decisions after a single outing in spring training. You guys are so volatile.
  7. Janssen is f***ing nails, he's top 3 this year for sure.
