What a surprise, 25 pitches already. Nothing more irritating then a pitching walking hitters.

JJ does not look good, lead off walk up in the zone, need a good start from him today. Wasting too many pitches early.

I agree, JJ has ACE stuff, and has been an ace. Problem is the rest of the team has too many holes to go on the type of run that is needed IMO. Hope I am wrong though and I'll watch and suffer anyway .

Problem is everytime they face a must win or have a chance to maybe turn a corner they go back to losing 2-3 in a row.

Totally agree, I suspected that as well, everyone timing was off in april, not a coincedence imo.

YEs the offense should be good enough to carry to team through a couple rough patches really, but in April everyone was behind the 8 ball. They are better then their record, but they still play poor defense, pitching is inconsistent, and struggle with RISP at times, and have poor fundamentals. What you need to understand as well is we have 4 other teams in the division all with above .500 records to pass. Unlikely now.

like the optimism OP, nothing wrong with that, but one bad april really cost this tam a realistic chance. They also lost 4-5 games they really gave away and should have won. The pitching is simply not good enough to be a serous contender and turn it around in my opinion. We also have total incompetence at second base, catcher, and lac of depth.

Even though they win Jays totally incompetent. They should be embarassed this went 18 innings.

Bautista terrible at bat, stay back on the breaking ball geez. This team is terrible.

Can someone explain why we keep trotting garbage izturis out there? He has cost us several games this year. Bad Offensively, Bad defensively, doesn't even do the intangibles well. There has to be a better option, a minor league player can't be any worse.
