    I completely understanding benching Martin after catching Dickey, it really f***s with his head. With that said though all of this could have been avoided if we just had Thole/f***ing anyone that can catch the knuckler. Navarro may not be a clubhouse cancer but he's a cancer that infects the lineup almost every day. From stealing DH spots from the regulars, keeping Smoak on the bench, forcing Martin to catch the knuckler, he just hurts this team in so many ways.

    I really want to believe that smoak is hurt, either that or AA is packaging navarro and prospects for a pitcher. I mean I want to believe these things but I'm finding it more and more plausible that gibby is just playing his favorites.

    thank god we had zobrist the boston slayer in LF today seriously though this game sucked it wasn't a heartbreaker but it was just one of those games that pisses you off from start to finish

    Really? From everything we know about AA the only logical conclusion I can deduce from that interview is that we have no idea what's going on. Remember how last year Jack Z came out and said (abridged version) "I hate Michael Saunders, he always gets injured." Everyone in the Seattle media blasted him for diminishing his trade value and ruining any leverage Jack Z had. Of course AA is going to say Navarro is important, he's amazing, ad nauseam. It's not like he's going to say he's a mostly redundant catcher that needs to be traded, I mean we do want to trade him after all. Maybe AA loves Navarro, thinks he's a clutch hitter and all that but to suggest that the interview gave us any additional insight is kinda domb. AA is an expert at saying a lot of words without telling us anything of substance.
