  1. Cueto could be the front of the rotation starter the Jays desperately need. I wonder what the asking price is.
  2. Who would have thought Astros would be a good team before Jays even have one post season appearence
  3. Will Harris just slammed the door shut on this ball game
  4. Suddenly things are getting interesting. If only Dickey didnt s*** the bed.
  5. How can you justify taking Collabello out of the lineup when he keeps hitting like this? Sure hes been lucky as hell but he's also not missing his pitch when he gets it.
  6. First two pitches squared up all day. Looks like we got some life. Collabello still hasnt cooled off, the guy just keeps hitting.
  7. Kuechel has given us some free passes today. Problem is, I havent seen Jays square up a single ball all day.
  8. It sucks because I love watching them both and love having them on the team. But keeping them is pointless unless we can do something about this rotation. And I fear waiting until the trade deadline might be too late.
  9. Sucks to be the punching bag tonight, but its so hard not to like Altuve. Such a good ball player.
  10. Chris Carter has such easy power.
  11. That changeup must look so inviting. Jays have been whiffing at it all day.
  12. Ill take it, lets go Blue Birds
  13. Good as a bunt... table is set, if we could just get a base hit here we'll be right back in this game
  14. Perhaps they are actually good this year?
  15. Tough to overcome a 3 run hole with Kuechel out there. We need Dickey to shut the door from here on out.
  16. Kuechel is so good at keeping the ball down and getting ground balls. Amazing how effective he is without a an overpowering fast ball.
  17. Keuchel's changeup is just filthy. He absoloutely carved up Bautista
  18. This team is probably a sub 500 ball club even with the best offense in baseball. BP Is bad and SP is even worse.
  19. I hate Loup. Guy seems to pitch his worst in high leverege situations. Osuna is our best BP arm and its not even close. Crazy to think the kid is just 20.
  20. Hutch has a good fastball going today
  21. AA should have known better. If you are in 'win now' mentality you fork up the cash and go for broke even if it means overpaying for a front of the rotation starting pitcher like Shields or Shertzer. Our rotation and bullpen was shakey enough without the additions of 4 rookie pitchers that are 22 and younger. Yes they are very talented but you'd be stupid to not expect a bunch of bumps along the road (Osuna has somehow been virtually flawless). Even Hutch is only a year removed from his first full MLB season. These young arms need time to develop. Problem is time isn't exactly on the side of aging vets like Dickey, Bautista, EE, Reyes etc. Kinda seemed like AA had just one foot in the door with his win now mentality. Its a shame because its really hard to imagine the Jays competing with this current rotation, and our aging players certainly aren't gaining more value by us hanging onto them any longer.
  22. I wonder what his approach is. Clearly he cant be looking for a certain pitch and/or location.
