I'm still very surprised a rebuilding team didn't take a run at him. My theory is that a couple rebuilding teams were unaware he was dropped. It's easy to overlook a drop if you don't check the transactions for a couple days. I personally wasn't even aware he was dropped (though it wouldn't have mattered since I'm 20th on the waiver wire). Others are probably holding onto their high waiver claim in case an international free agent is signed over the course of the season.

It's interesting because this would be the final playoff spot. - Two players finished with the same rank from every ranker: Dinger (1), and Boxy (19). - The biggest variance in rankings for an individual team belonged to Spanky (8th -- ranked by Dinger, Torontofan and 18th -- ranked by North). It has its ups and downs. I was all in on Lawrie in 2012 and he completely busted. I was also all in on Madison Bumgarner the year he broke out though.

If Chapman was ever going to start, it would have been this year. I think he's staying in the pen. Obviously that could change if leaves the Reds or their management changes.

Not in OBP SLG leagues but still. I hate players whose value is tied to SB as much as the next guy but I still see him as a top 40 player with upside.

Nope. You just need 5 reliable holds guys. You can get them much later than closers, and you'll beat 90-100% of the league in holds.

What pick did you grab Xander at? The front 4 of your rotation is solid and you have some nice back end guys to fill it. Other than a few holes (Weeks, possibly Grandal if he doesn't take a step forward) the offense is good. It appears to be what I imagine is league average. You have youth on your side with a lot of the starters though which is always good. I would have to see all the teams to make a call on whether or not you're a playoff team. PS - The BBDL only has 3 RP slots or you only drafted 3?

How come I can't see the North trade? It's not showing up in my transactions. I can only see the 3 trades njh made. EDIT: Nvm, I just saw the thread.
