Don't think he as much choice. Might be one of those games where he just throws fatty to the wolves for 5+ innings and just hopes it doesn't get too ugly

His skillset is completely superfluous on this bench. In the AL You can't carry two guys whose only skill is their legs

Well the play can't be called dead until someone picks up the ball and gets it to the infield. Since the ball went all the way to the rays pen they just kept running. Really douchey... But legal

Some bad fundamentals here... You have to know Molina can't score from 2b on a single and hit the cutoff

Bad form by JPA but he got bailed out by the ump, why was he so far up 1b? Bad luck there I think that ball hit the front of the plate.... That bad call by the ump evened out quickly
