  1. If he keeps hitting triples and HRs and can cut down on the Ks he'll shoot up the lists.
  2. He means top 100
  3. No Labourt either haha
  4. Nice, finally someone else to follow in Vancouver
  5. So he's the guy who has a top projected pick before he got hurt. Looks like he has a pretty good curve and decent movement on his fastball, although that might just be the camera angle.
  6. Here's another report from Bluefield from a different site http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2013/7/26/4559206/aspiring-jays-jairo-labourt-d-j-davis-are-bluefields-best
  7. Haha I love how he's giving us a complete recap every time he pitches
  8. It's cool to HATE JPA because of the cool posters do it.
  9. I've liked JPA since he was a prospect so I have a hard time getting fully on board with the hate. I keep hoping he will turn it around, but idk. I think he's better than he's been this year though. I still have a little hope remaining.
  10. I think walks are a bit overrated, especially when we consider prospects. It seems like some if you dismiss the idea of a prospect being valuable when you see low walk rates (example: Pillar). Being able to hit and hit well its underrated by some who focus more on walks.
  11. They won nice, lol. We coulda had 4-5 wins in those last 6 games...
  12. Davis went 1-4 on his 19th birthday. DeJong 4IP 2H 1ER 4K Norris: 3.1IP 5H 6ER 3BB 6K not so great. GCL was rained out Nolin: 5IP 8H 4ER 3BB 5K and NH has been no hit so far by 3 different pitchers through 7.2
  13. All we needed was a series vs. the Astros to break the slump. Now let's win 20 in a row and make the playoffs
  14. Oh no you're about to get destroyed
  15. None. But he can't hit and I think OP is talking about is saying being able to hit is more important.
  16. Example: Kawasaki. He walks a lot, but can't hit. Not all that valuable. I guess you need a mix of the two.
  17. Yeah they probably are a bit overrated. And batting average is probably equally underrated. But both are very important.
  18. Lol I wonder how long he will last.
  19. How have the Astros not been no-hit multiple times this year?
  20. Yeah like him, but a version that can hit.
  21. Even if this kid was exactly equal to Melky as a player I would rather have him up here. A young guy who's worked hard to get this far and who plays hard every day would be very refreshing on this abysmal team.
