I agree with him though that intentional walks are anti competitive. I'd prefer to see the league adapt measures to discourage them, but seems they are going in the opposite direction on that front.

Posnanski had a great article on this...one solution he thought of was to award two bases for a four pitch walk.

I'm actually amazed at what Ed Rogers accomplished. He simultaneously pissed off two separate fan bases without actually accomplishing anything.

Machado is one of the most overrated players in all fantasy baseball. Hits for an empty average, not a lot of power, not great counting stats. He's better in a non-OBP league but I'd trade him for Correa in a heartbeat.

Zero interest in a roto league for me. Auction sounds fun but roto leagues are so boring.

Fantrax does offer free leagues. Probably the sane as Yahoo. I don't really have a preference

The question after this is...who the hell is going to want to work in the Baltimore front office after this disaster? Next GM: Ed Wade. Then the Orioles can go back to their rightful place as a perennial 90 loss team.

Back on the MLB.com message boards, the Seattle one was far and away the absolute best place to have civil discussion. They had a terrific community.
