    The thing about the eye test is that it's subjective. My eye test says that Tellez sucks dicks. He swings at bad pitches, isn't very good at making contact, and runs like a lame tortoise. The amount this guy would have to hit to not be a black hole on the roster is very high, and nothing according to my eye test leads me to believe that he will achieve that. Refute my eye test.

    Also the possibility that Jansen just accrues two strikes and then bunts for the third strike because that's a good idea according to Charles. In this instance the bunt was of no benefit, anyway, so no one can really argue it "worked out". If anything, made things more dicey given our propensity to hit into inning ending double plays. Came down to Shaw vs. a lefty. Good thing he came through but that wasn't some master class on how to manage in extra innings.

    We are the only team that could feasibly allow Madison Bumgarner to hit when he demanded it, at least until Fisher comes back. Jesse Winker was there being misused in Cinci but they've figured out that he's good and now hitting at a 164 wRC+ which I expect to continue in perpetuity. Puig doesn't have corona forever, he's sitting there. f*** sakes, may as well call up Kirk, Groshans or Martin at this point. All I see is the FO making no effort to make a clear improvement at an easy position to fill at little to no cost. That's negligence, especially in this season where making the playoffs is very possible. Maybe Ross will address it in 3 years or something.

Tbh, the camera work and angles were actually a lot better than what I was expecting. Tons of respect for the Jays and the people working on this reno. It did not really feel like they were in a AAA park. Bonus, hopefully they can keep this set up for the Bisons next year. I want as many camera angles of El Capitan as possible after he graduates AA after a month.

    I'm just very confused how the complete ineptitude of the coaching staff has somehow gone under the FO's radar. It isn't just Charlie, though he is the worst and a fun target.

    I don't think there would be an issue had the second base ump not signalled to Gurriel. Also, how can they definitively say he wouldn't have made it?
