  1. I hope Goins gets on base just to see JPA
  2. I'd rather see Rasmus finish strong than have to question what he's going to do for us next year/ wonder if he's even healthy or not.
  3. Rasmus!
  4. They'll probably pick up some catcher that isn't that good and have the two of them share time. AA has held onto JPA for this long, I don't think he'll send him down to AAA just like that. I mean look how much rope he gave Lind...
  5. Happ doesn't have options anymore? I thought he did.
  6. Mendoza would be proud
  7. I have complete faith that he will do it.
  8. It still says .200 on gameday. It sure is difficult to hit <.200 these days.
  9. theblujay bait
  10. 199!
  11. Lots of people thought we'd have a nice little run in September
  12. anyone notice goins is hitting under 250 these days with a low obp? After such a hot start too.
  13. I get the feeling JPA will still be around next year, they'll use the injury excuse to explain his lack of production and cite his home run totals to get people to believe he wasn't THAT bad.
  14. Interesting. BlueJays are 7-7 so far in September.
  15. I want Happ to build up his trade value or atleast take a step in the right direction for next year.
  16. so to get this straight. we want Happ to actually pitch well, Hughes to own JPA and the BlueJays to lose?
  17. you posted yours while i was making mine
  18. Someone had to start one. Go.... ummm... I'm not even sure who I'm supposed to be rooting for these days... just want to see JPA fail at this point.
  19. So what will you guys think if JPA is still here at the start of next season?
  20. First game of the season, Arencibia trying to catch Dickey.
  21. Watch AA keep almost all of them. Remember the trade deadline. Our bullpen guys were at peak value and we had so many bullpen options, there was not enough room for everyone and everyone thought moves would be made and nothing happened. We even let Oliver retire here and get nothing for him instead of getting anything at all.
  22. or the next year, or the next year, so sayeth Paul Beeston.
  23. Remember when Farrell wanted our players to work the count a lot more and get on base and Dwayne Murphy would have nothing of that? The Red Sox have really been taking pitches and getting on base this year. Red Sox #1 in OBP, last year they were 22nd.
