I believed they were a contender, not division leader and possibly MLB's best. lol... the Jays believed in Springer/Kirk as they did with Barger, they signed and acquired them? If Vlad was doing what he did last season as he did in '21, this team would be the best in MLB a contender, get a few arms within 8 days and we ARE a contender as we are at the moment and will get better. Give your head a shake.

    lulz... so how does that make you come to that conclusion, you missed the xBA, the base hits the several chances of scoring with RISP greatly favours the Jays and our D was sublime while there's wasn't... Jays out played them, they made Max pay on a couple mistake pitches as did Rice, that's baseball, s*** happens but the Jays played better ball. Their sluggers showed up, that's not playing a better overall game, f*** the Yankees.

    They were likely going to until Ed Rogers stepped in, it's not on the FO, Shapiro even said we've gone over our evaluation several times. And that's just is what it is, sounds like we have an ownership that aren't backing off on spending at the very least. There's a silver lining. 😜
