Barger doesn't really profile a two hole hitter. Personally I would have Lukes batting second with Barger fifth and Varsho seventh. Wasn't the offence at its best with Lukes batting second? -
Springer turned back the clock. DHing a lot made a big difference.

I think the majority of the descrpenecy lies on where in the line up he bats. Imo, I think sixth would be the ideal spot.

That means three RHH in a row at the top of the order. JS won't have it as he needs to stagger handedness, he even had Giminez at the top earlier this year for the same reason. Doesn't he understand that Bo is a hitting machine and the point is pretty much mute when it comes to him? You could even go with Bo leading off and Springer batting second.

Barger batting second will be reason enough if we lose. JS needs to be sent packing but he'll probably get an extension along with Shatkins.
