    The higher the hopes are for the team, the farther the drop to reality. They've been a let down most of the year. I know I had high hopes in March.

    Not sure if Kirk is getting heavier, but they should have traded him last year when his value was at its highest. Teams figured him out. I think Vlad is adjusting to not being the center of attention on the team with Lourdes and Teoscar gone and not constantly feeding his ego while he holds court at the end of the dugout. I don't know, but something is off with him this year.
