  1. How many games Jays May have failed to win with Varsho batting clean up and with RISP. Watching this guy time and time again starting 0-2 is very disappointing. Atkins nightmares haunting him at night
  2. They can do almost everyday Players meeting but eventually the onus should be on the person who makes tough decisions. Ross Atkins seat should be way warmer by now
  3. Even in low to zero leverage situations, Garcia struggles.
  4. Chapman returning to his mean after a hot start. I mentioned about their over reliance to technology. The continuous use of that iPad and the constant tweaking messes up their rhythm. Gone were the days when power hitters trust their feel of the game.
  5. On my very first post, I mentioned about Cimber underwhelming velocity. Him and Yimi Garcia are the weakest part of this bullpen Another reflection of Ross Atkins.
  6. Atkins made a trade just for the sake of making a trade.
  7. It seems the list just goes on and on against Ross Atkins. At some point, the buck stops there on his lap
  8. When was the last time this team had a switch hitter?
  9. Atkins expecting an inexperience Manager to lead a team with a World Series aspirations is another blunder Inexcusable.
  10. Was there any available left handed batter Outfielder with decent defense this past offseason that Atkins could have acquired for Moreno and Gurriell?
  11. Another question: How can Schneider expect his players to be accountable when he himself is not immune to boneheaded moves
  12. How can Atkins rectify this significant blunder? Maybe give up another prospect just to convince an opposing executive that Varsho May still have a promising upside
  13. A .220-.230 career hitter with an overrated defense To give up a very young Moreno and Gurriell Atkins nightmare
  14. The ever reliable Varsho This could be one of the worse trade in Blue Jays history?
  15. Maybe the lack of leadership. Belt, Bassitt and KK are valuable vets but they are new to the team. Gausman is not in his personality. Springer to me is more of a follower. Bo and Vlad possibly down the road but still don’t have enough playoff stripes to rise to the top. The organization should invest in Vlad’s communication and language skills. Honestly, they really have to encourage him for his personal growth if they intend to invest on him long term. What is most unfortunate is what is happening to Manoah early season woes. He is a perfect candidate to be a young vocal leader but very difficult to assume that role when your performance is diving faster than you can recover. His confidence is shut. The reason why this team is badly needing a more experience Manager. Schneider can still be a great Manager to a young and upcoming team. The Blue Jays have aspirations this season to be contenders. JS have significant flaws.
  16. When you really look at it, it was more of a haphazard move like buying something you are so eager to get but didn’t realize you paid way more than what should be the right value.
  17. If ever they fire Atkins, the earliest would be this coming offseason. But he can easily make some moves this trade deadline if the Jays are still within striking distance in getting one of the wild card spots. He may just save his job if they turn it around. Otherwise, his seat should be warmer by now.
  18. No problem, it’s a free forum and everyone should be entitled with their opinion, but I will stay in my lane. It is a long season, 3 games back from two wild card spots is very easy to overcome when all cylinders are clicking. My initial post was to point out the current situation, although some issues with a long term impact to where the team is heading. I hope this team can recover.
  19. If Atkins intention was to improve the outfield defense and to get a left handed batter, giving up Gurriel but most especially a very young Moreno was not the best way to go. They could have done better than a career .220 batter in Varsho.
  20. Hello. My first post . This has been a frustrating and disappointing season for our beloved Blue Jays. My two cents: 1. The trade for Varsho in exchange for Gurriel who was one of our best clutch player plus a very young Moreno was a significant blunder move by Atkins. The intention was good to acquire a left handed batter but someone whose career batting average is .220-.230 is difficult to accept especially giving up two positional players with better upsides. 2. Atkins did not address the bullpen this offseason after what took place in the playoffs against Seattle. Yimi Garcia is a weak set up man. Cimber has a very weak arm. Romano is not a closer. 3. It maybe minor but Having to still carry an ineffective Biggio who totally underwhelms at both ends of the field is another reason why this team is struggling. Worse thing is Schneider continue to use him boggles my mind. 4. Another reason why our pitchers are getting picked off especially Manoah is because Kirk continue to tip pitches. He just don’t know how to adjust and help the PITCHERS. Behind the plate, he is just horrendous. He has not shown a competitive nature (example of a good catcher is Adler Rutschman). He has not established chemistry with the pitchers, zero leadership skills. A very bland player. He is slow because of his weight. They should have traded him last season when his value was at its highest. 5. The hitting coach disappoints. 6. Chapman had a good April but from that point, it has gone downhill. They should stop being too over reliant with technology. Watching him after every bat, countless checking of the IPad screws up his rhythm. Gone were the days when batters just have the confidence with their feel of the game. Delgado, Fernandez, Batista, Encarnacion relied on their natural talents. 6. For a team with aspirations to compete for a championship. Schneider should not be the manager. 7. They have not filled the farm. But the icing on the cake is Ross Atkins. He has completely failed this franchise.
