  1. Anyone have any idea when MLB Pipeline is going to release their updated list?
  2. I’ve never posted a photo on here, so let’s see…
  3. Tonight it was probably because of the massive lefty/righty splits of the Cleveland starter.
  4. I would not. We need to keep the guys we view as core prospects, or we could get old, expensive, and with a baron farm system real quick. If management thinks guys like Orelvis and Moreno are future stars, you gotta hold onto them, imo.
  5. He’s one of the only guys on the team that had a sudden mid season spin rate decline, for some reason…
  6. Most likely the extreme lefty/righty splits of the Cleveland starter. They are massive. Just one example: 7.76 FIP vs lefties; 2.91 FIP vs righties.
  7. I think Kevin Smith also deserves a chance to play third.
  8. There are several reasons why this is a poor comparison, but I’m way too tired to explain.
  9. I have a feeling the Jays value Otto Lopez higher than we realize.
  10. I view 2-6 as one tier. Surprised you have Martinez at the bottom of those guys, though.
  11. What about Orelvis? Do you think they consider him untouchable?
  12. That’s not how it works in the MLB playoffs, this isn’t basketball. We’ve seen inferior teams win in the playoffs countless times because it’s such a crapshoot.
  13. I wonder if the development of Smith this year contributed to the Jays being okay letting Martin go?
  14. I’m not particularly interested in trading any of our legitimate prospects.
  15. Release him? Chill! … I think we can still get some cash considerations for him if we play our cards right.
  16. Should have hit for McGuire in the 9th, tonight.
  17. It was Keith Law who mentioned the hand injury/swing change, btw. I’m more confused about why he’s playing if he’s injured to the point of needing to alter his swing?
  18. MacKenzie Gore has gone from the best pitching prospect in baseball last year, all the way down to 84.
  19. Why does Manoah qualify in their rankings, but not on MLB Pipeline?
  20. I think Zeuch was actually ahead of Kevin Smith, too, iirc lol. They need to put out their updated rankings.
  21. I don’t really blame Kirk for the baserunning play. Stripling pulling the bat back on a strike puts him in a bad position. He’s so slow, so he needs to get a good jump in order to be safe at second. Then when Stripling pulled the bat back he was stuck in no man’s land.
  22. In his last 30 games, Groshans is hitting .327/.408/.527. And has 15 walks to 21 strike outs.
