  1. For some player named Derek Fisher Jr.
  2. How do you tank games though?? The new SP's wanna prove themselves to make the team, so they're not gonna start throwing BP balls. Position players like Biggio, Bo....etc are also not gonna strikeout on purpose, they too want to be around next year. AFA guys like Smoak are concerned, if they start tanking AB's they reduce their trade or FA value
  3. Opiates are a big problem too: https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2004-aug-01-sp-d2dawgcomment1-story.html%3f_amp=true
  4. Not in a million years will Rogers sign a FA like that
  5. Is there a reason why you think the Nats wont resign him??
  6. Kay pitched 5 innings tonight, gave up 2 ER, 4 hits, 3 walks and 6 K's (1HR). So not a bad outing
  7. We'll get em tomorrow. Font starts. 1:10 pm first pitch
  8. Jansen needed that double
  9. And to think, back in the old days they played without a cup
  10. Teo may have saved a triple there
  11. Deadpool might be Right counter: 41
  12. I still think Thornton might eventually become a useful pitcher for us
  13. Is there a live game link you have??
  14. Meh, we'll let them have 2 runs, we're nice like that
  15. We've won 7 of our last 10, coupled with a chance to sweep TB at Tropicana. That starts to get me excited
  16. 2 out of 3 at Tropicana where we've played like s*** the last decade or so??
  17. I dont even think Bichette expected this start to his career
  18. Jansen back in the lineup. Thornton gets the ball. A win tonight and I'll slowly start to get optimistic about the future again
  19. I can think of only 2 other cities deserving of a MLB team, and thats Indianopolis or New Orleans. But IMO it should go to Montreal before those two
  20. I'm pretty sure the 2 ST games we had in Montreal this year were testers by either MLB or the Rays owners (or both) to see how much attendance and TV ratings they could get. They drew almost 100K over 2 games, so baseball is clearly still very popular in MTL: Log into Facebook WWW.FACEBOOK.COM Log into Facebook to start sharing and connecting with your friends, family, and people you know. Also there's a LOT more Carribean immigrants (Dominicans, Cubans....etc) in MTL now then there was in 1981
  21. Expos attendance over entire Rick Monday 1981 season was 28,000+ https://exposnation.com/en/montreal-expos-attendance-per-year/ Rays attendance for 2019 when they're in WC race is about half that: http://www.espn.com/mlb/attendance Clearly the Spos have bigger fanbase, especially when the population in Montreal was a lot less in 1981
  22. They would get more than 12,000, especially if they're in a pennant race. Expos attendance in 1981 playoffs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_National_League_Championship_Series
  23. So the Rays are legit contenders and all the attendance they could get was 12,000 people. That's a crime against humanity. Their franchise should be revoked and given to the Expos ASAP
  24. BTW what nationality do you guys think the name Waguespack is??? It aint no last name I ever heard of. It sounds Eastern European for some reason
