    Short-term I agree with you on Paxton. Long-term I dont, and maybe its better Jays look at the next 3 to 4 years instead of next 1 to 2 years (considering both pitcher's ages)

    Nope, there have been players in the past who were only invited to ST without a minor L. contract. That happens when management wants to wait and see what their stuff is like during ST before committing to a MiLB contract
