Various moves have not worked but the fanbase refuses to hold management accountable Truth is Atkins and team Shapiro are f***ing terrible talent evaluators. Just look at the rest of team. I think this team could reach .500 in the next few years but that will be about it. Sometimes people are not good at their job That's the reality of it. Shapiro might have been a good exec in Cleveland but a lot of the supporting cast had been there for a while. It's too bad. Both EE and Donaldson are still superstars and impact bats. Both wanted to stay long term. Both were chased out. Management cant keep a good relationship with anybody. I hope AA wins the Worls Series with Donaldson in Atlanta it will show the people here what they gave up.
