We've got really good pitching and the hitting is more balanced this season. If Gibby allows the boys to steal a few more bases this year, I think that'll really help too.
The plan for Travis this season is 2 games on, one game off. He's not getting "benched", but will see regular games off all season in order to try and keep him healthy.
Bottom line is I hope JD plays 3B tonight...I've got him in my fantasy pool and am a huge fan. But the conflicting observations concern me, especially with the Jays history of not being entirely forthcoming with injuries.
Thanks...I got the names mixed up, so my apologies to deadpool. And BTW, when you start of a paragraph with "First of all", normally you will have a second point to make, otherwise there's no need for "First of all". Sentence structure my dude
Not saying its a conspiracy, but they will want to limit negative news being reported on the team in order to not negatively impact ticket sales and ratings. If you don't believe that, then you are one naïve fellow.
Yes, the producer may have instructed their staff no reports on JD's throwing after the game. Do you not find it odd that only TSN reported on it, and not Sportsnet? And I'm just going by what you said here, as I have no confirmation that Sportsnet did not report in this.
Sportsnet reports what Rogers tells them to. Scott Mitchell from TSN is legit and reports Jays news all the time...not my problem if you've never heard of him.
Skipping balls to first is skipping balls to first. It doesn't take a MLB GM to make that observation. I feel that the Jays are trying to put spin on this situation by making in seem like less of a concern than it really is.
JD is supposed to play 3B tonight. Scott Mitchell from TSN said he was watching JD make throws after last game and he was still skipping some throws to first. His observations and Gibby's positive comments did not align. Something smells fishy and it's not that old sock that's never been washed in Gibby's office.
Is there an LTIR in baseball where he essentially retires, he gets his money and his salary comes off our cap? I believe a doctor needs to sign off on it...
