Lind never got a strike.... Seems this team panics and swings at everything in clucth situations.

EE didn't run hard at first........typical of this team. lucky he was safe. Run hard guys come on.

Winning teams don't have such a bad bottom of the lineup who cannot even do the fundamentals well and bad pitching. That's the issue.

The rays are the exact opposite, sound, good pitching, play good fundamental baseball, develop players in house. THis jays team is horribly wrong.

ROFL....Cannot score 1 run with bases loaded.... Rasmus, JP, the bottom of this lineup is just terrible. YEs even rasmus, stats are misleading. Winning teams don't mess up that opportunity. This is a bad team. JP always chases the breaking ball outside way out of the zone.

LMAO bases loaded 0 out, the jays are terrible. RAsmus is just too inconsistent at the plate.

Sigh, spin it how you want he does not hit for a good average, sells out for the HR way too often on outside pitches. He played more games last and this year to see his average as a trend, look at his career average.

He hit .240 last year and is barely above .250 right now......................................He could be a lot better if he could handle the outside pitch. You don;t think away, you take the pitch where it is pitched.

He hits around .240 because he cannot ht outside pitches or especially breaking balls. He would be a triple crown threat if he did. It's frustrating. No doubt he is a great player, but could be a lot better. he is not quite elite anymore. Is it was about being the best player he would try to improve on his average and hitting the outside pitches.

BAutista again cannot hit the outside pitch, tries to pull everything....go the other way idiot.

RAsmus is a perfect example of whats wrong with this team. Good one game, terrible the next. Why would he swing at that? Just too many flawed hitters and bad pitching, LAST PLACE TEAM.

This team is terrible, the rays are on another level. This team doesnt play smart baseball.

Rasmus never saw 1 strike that at bat.....Hellickson owns us because he throws breaking balls when behind, this offense never adjusts...When was the last Time bautista hit an outside breaking ball? Escpecially go the other way? He always pops up or rolls over it, thus his .250 average.

You will find holes on any roster, nno team has allstars at every position , and even less so when you had the injuries we had. The fact is, if JJ, Dickey, Buerhle, and the rest of the players played to their level this is a good team, this season is more ion the players the the FO IMO. Look at the yankess roster, it's a mess, yet they are winning. Players have s*** the bed. Having JP as our everyday catcher is a head scratcher though. He is part of the reason for the pitchers struggles imo.

I partly agree, this really is on the players, the talent level is there. They just have not performed. The FO needs to improve on developing prospects though.

This is for me the worst season I have ever experienced, because of the talent level and total underachievement. This team just does not plat smart baseball, is some of it coaching? Bad baseball IQ players? Probably a bit of both.

People making excuses, his era is bad for a reason, as his is whip. YEs, he has had a few good starts but it is always followed up wit garbage. As soon as he gets a bad break he seems to fall apart, not mentally tough it seems. A good pitcher battles and gets out of tough spots with minimal damage most of the time JJ seems to fall apart.

Man this season has been a disaster, all of out acquisitions have been terrible except reyes and a couple bull pen. We seriously are no better then last year. It's 30 degrees outside not going to watch these overpaid bums play anymore today. AA gambled and it blew up.

Hope the jays don;'t even offer JJ any contract, he is NOT the same guy since his surgery, over the plate, doesn't throw as hard. He has one good start but can never follow it up, he is terrible. We need better pitching then this.

JEsus terrible luck. Awful start. This team seems so predictable, everytime JJ has a good start, he follows it up with a bad one.
