  1. Everyone's at the game? Edit: Did you mean quiet in the GDT or at the Skydome?
  2. Actually, he does seem to be able to catch R.A. Dickey well. That's more than you can say for JPA.
  3. The one Jay due up who can actually take a walk, Kawasaki, gets pulled. Sad.
  4. ??? Forum police? I never claimed to be. In fact I usually lurk in an attempt to keep my post count low. Your annoying fud-spamming is too much to ignore though. Praise the jays every post? Hardly, but I don't throw a childish negative snit every post either. You come across as an angst-driven adolescent. Grow up.
  5. Give it a rest. You're over your head. You'd probably be better off at the MLB boards with Dogg, High85 and Spermpie or whatever he calls himself.
  6. Another Dp ball wow. JPA is simply not good enough. FTFY
  7. I guess it depends on how you define "troll". Over there someone is more likely to get banned for swearing or politically incorrect language than for repeatedly starting idiot threads based on ignorance of the game. Also there are several memorable trolls with multiple usernames (and personalities) who constantly spam the board when they forget to take their meds.
  8. They always have the parade in the summer because pride goeth before the fall. Oops. Wrong forum.
  9. They didn't bomb you for the spelling error. It was the statement. As for the response, you have to understand that many posters came here from the official MLB board to try to avoid trolls, censorship, and to some degree, noobs and casuals.
  10. Any series against teams ahead of us in our own division is obviously huge, but this one represents a chance to really tighten up the east. Nice to start off with a fresh bullpen. Thanks R.A.
  11. He does seem to have a knack for catching Dickey. I like the way he doesn't frame a target but lets his glove hang and then catches the knuckler like an infielder. He's our only catcher who can keep Dickey's pitches from going to the backstop
  12. Do you have MLBTV? There's no blackout in Sweden. Otherwise you can always use a "bootleg" streaming site like the one whose name rhymes with "gee I see fox". It works for me every time. I haven't had to use anything except MLBTV this year though. For some reason I'm not being blacked out. I think it has to do with Rogers Anyplace TV. Last season and at the start of this season, I watched the games through Rogers for free because I have a Rogers mobile data account, even if I used my landline with another company. I noticed the feed was the MLBTV feed but they left the commercials in. When Rogers stopped offering free games to anyone without a Rogers cable TV account, I tried MLBTV and found it worked fine for Jays games, and even omitted the commercials.
  13. What are you on? Borders was a good defensive catcher. It was Ernie Twitt who was horrible. Remember Ricky Henderson making a fool of Twitt in the first ALCS at the Skydome? The parallels between JPA and Ernie Shitt are quite pronounced. Both were terrible defensively and the only value of either was hitting HRs. It was when we replaced Twitt with Borders that we finally started winning.
