    It might just be (almost) every day with Buck and Pat, but Morris is a breath of fresh air when he gets moved into the TV booth. And I didn't mind Devlin at all.

    Ump calling high strikes all night. Doesn't ring up Fowler on a high strike. JPA blocks the ump from seeing that second pitch as a strike. Then throws a goofy thing to DeRosa. JJ did good though. Only pitcher to not go 7 innings is Dickey last time through the rotation.

    What a difference starting pitching can make on the overall feeling of the game. Even if it wasn't a complete blowout just having the pitchers keep the game close and not blowing up at least makes you think they have a chance to win it.

    Of course the one game where a pitcher makes it to the ninth is a day game on the West coast so I turn on to see Dickey get the hook. God damn scheduling.

    My dad and I were trying to remember what his record even was the other day. 1 and 3? 1 and 4? The truth is even better.

    This whole west coast trip is a load of ********. We get 1pm start times on weekends at home yet out in SD they get their 7pm times, screwing Jays fans over. Plus we get stuck with a number of 12 or 1 pm games Tuesday/Wednesday but out in SF they get the nice prime time 7pm start again.

    I was sorta mad that they were doing 7 pm Padres time for these games. Now I don't even care.
