  1. Price is painting the corners. Got Edwin on base, we need to bring him around. I don't know how many opportunities we will have today.
  2. Kelly Johnson is looking like Tony Gwynn this series. Longoria is amazing...
  3. Big strikeout by Gonzo. It will be huge if we can get out of this inning trailing by just a run.
  4. Now Gonzo's warming up in the pen. Gibby throwing in the towel already?
  5. Boni has just as much likelihood of striking out as Rasmus does only without the long ball threat or the stellar defence.
  6. I think Boston is legit. Obviously their current pace is unsustainable but I think they still have 90+ win potential. You guys make it sound like the Sox are fielding a bunch of bums. Ellsbury, Pedrioa, Ortiz, Victorino, & Napoli are all high profile players that have had tremendous success in this league.
  7. Another gutsy performance by the Blue Jays. Poor Happ, its a shame we can't fully enjoy what should be the high point of our season so far, I pray that he is ok. Good sign to see more great approaches behind the plate from guys like Bautista, Izturis, Lind, and Cabrera. Jays remain unbeaten on the new board. Looks like its just what the doctor ordered.
  8. 2-4, both doubles and a walk tonight for Joey. He's been stellar so far in early May.
  9. Hopefully the Blue Jays bats stay hot. This is a very winnable game, we need Happto have a strong outing today.
  10. Awesome GDT hopefully the Jays keep rollin! We need a strong outing from Happ today.
  11. He's unquestionably a plus defender but I wish he'd settle down more. No need to leap 3 feet in the air for line drives at eye level, or to try to bare hand every chopper down the third base line. Gotta love the effort he gives you on each and every play though.
  12. Is it just me or has Lawrie been late on the fast ball? Seems like he's fouling off tons of FBs towards RF, maybe an indicator he isn't getting the barrel of the bat out in front of the pitch soon enough.
  13. We don't neccesarily need a 2012 Oakland A's style winning streak (although that would be just lovely) but we need a hot stretch of games where we take 14-15 games of the next 20 and string a few series' wins together. It is pivotal that we take the upcoming series in Fenway.
  14. Has Janssen even given up a hit against RHP this year?
  15. Great job by Rogers, Oliver, and Janssen locking it down and not giving up any runs in the later innings
  16. I'm sure Dickey wishes he got half the run support Burhle gets in his starts. It's amazing he doesn't have 4 losses on his record already. 3 runs in 4 games, than 18 runs in 2 games... go figure.
  17. Sub par defence, atrocious K/BB ratio, and subsequently poor OBP, but I'll be damned if he hasn't been our most clutch hitter with RISP BY FAR this year.
  18. Wow what a huge win. Glad to see the Jays didn't lie down when they trailed by 7.
  19. Yeah Samardzjia really came along towards the end of last season, and has carried it over into 2013. Just goes to show you how crazy/unpredictable this sport is.
